Blyth Town win further £100,000

They did it!
Blyth Town have been handed a huge boost with a further £100,000 super grant from the Budweiser Football Futures to go with the £50,000 they had already won from the regional heats.
The club not only united the town but the wider north-east football community to take almost 40% of an eight way Facebook vote against seven other clubs from around England.
The cash will be used to resurface the pitch with a 3G Multi-Use Games area, allowing it to be a community-wide facility for seven and nine-a-side mini soccer.
The Pin Point Recruitment Northern Alliance Premier Division side beat closest challengers Evergreen FC from Hertfordshire by around 9%.
